Spoken-word artist J. Ivy hosts the third program in our Poetry Uncut series. Get Lit starts us off with raucous spoken word. L.A.’s Def Sound traverses the worlds of hip-hop and poetry; and Sunni Patterson explores the poetic and spiritual traditions of her native New Orleans. The evening is scored by Emmy Award-winning DJ Niena Drake.
